Baking tips:

When making chocolate chip cookies, or any type of cookie that you want to stay soft and moist. Place in a tight lid container with a piece of bread!

If you don't have any buttermilk, you can make your own. For 1 cup milk mix with 1tbsp of vinegar or lemon juice. let stand for 5 mins. Or you can use yogurt.

For baked goods use unsalted butter or use less salt than the recipe called for..

When baking with honey, remember the following: Reduce any liquid called for by 1/4 cup for each cup of honey used. Add l/2 teaspoon baking soda for each cup of honey used. Reduce oven temperature by 25 F to prevent over-browning.
