Hi and welcome to Swahili Mom Kitchen's blog. Nothing is professional here just great and simple recipes that anyone can use. I'm not a chef but a "good" cook {bragging} or maybe I like to cook.... anyhow you think of it ....but all I know is that I like to cook but I don't like to spend my whole day in the kitchen so tweaking or creating my own recipes is the next thing to keep me out of the kitchen quick. I barely follow a recipe to the letter and I hate measuring. So Swahili Mom Kitchen blog is for those who like good eat from different cuisines but appreciate easy and simple things. There is no right or wrong here with few tweaks you can create your own recipe.
Congratulations on your new "raw" inspired blog! How exciting. :-)
ReplyDeleteJust stumbled on your blog... I love it...I will try few recipes you have here.. Yummy!
ReplyDeleteWell done indeed....thumbs up n hats off. Huh!! I think i literaly copied your madazi recipe to the dot....except i reduced the sugar and still turned out too sweet. But this blog is worth bookmarking. The recipes as u put across are simple to follow and tempting to try. I stumbled upon it while looking for madazi recipe....well i mainly wanted to be clear on measurement for baking powder. And when i noticed your recipe tallies with what was in my store.....i went for it. Married to a Tanzanian...your recipes will surely boost my cooking. I appluade you for the step you took. Its not as easy as drinking water...coz i can imagine it takes time and energy to share. God bless.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, I'm so glad to hear that it helped you. It's messages like these that keep me pushing on to post many more Tanzanian recipes.
